Taj Mahal is Hindu Temple Tejo Mahalaya

Real History of "Taj Mahal" "The Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal built the Taj Mahal. It was built in 22 years (1631 to 1653) by 20,000 artisans brought to India from all over the world! . Many people believe Ustad Isa of Iran designed it." This is what your guide probably told you if you ever visited the Taj Mahal. This is the same story I read in my history book as a student. NOW READ THIS....... No one has ever challenged it except Prof. P. N. Oak, who believes the whole world has been duped. In his book Taj Mahal: The True Story, Oak says the Taj Mahal is not Queen Mumtaz's tomb but an ancient Hindu temple palace of Lord Shiva (then known as Tejo Mahalaya). In the course of his research Oak discovered that the Shiva temple palace was usurped by Shah Jahan from then Maharaja of Jaipur, Jai Singh. In his own court chronicle, Badshahnama, Shah Jahan admits that an exceptionally beautiful grand mansion in Agra was taken from Jai SIngh for Mumtaz's burial. The ex-Maharaja of Jaipur still retains in his secret collection two orders from Shah Jahan for surrendering the Taj building. Using captured temples and mansions, as a burial place ! for dead courtiers and royalty was a common practice among Muslim rulers. For example, Humayun,Akbar, Etmud-ud-Daula and Safdarjung are all buried in such mansions. Oak's inquiries began with the name of Taj Mahal. He says the term "Mahal" has never been used for a building in any Muslim countries from Afghanisthan to Algeria. "The unusual explanation that the term Taj Mahal derives from Mumtaz Mahal was illogical in atleast two respects. Firstly, her name was never Mumtaz Mahal but Mumtaz-ul-Zamani," he writes. Secondly, one cannot omit the first three letters 'Mum' from a woman's name to derive the remainder as the name for the building."Taj Mahal, he claims, is a corrupt version of Tejo Mahalaya, or Lord Shiva's Palace. Oak also says the love story of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan is a fairy tale created by court sycophants, blundering historians and sloppy archaeologists. Not a single royal chronicle of Shah Jahan's time corroborates the love story. Furthermore, Oak cites several documents suggesting the Taj Mahal predates Shah Jahan's era, and was a temple dedicated to Shiva, worshipped by Rajputs of Agra city. For example, Prof. Marvin Miller of New York took a few samples from the riverside doorway of the Taj. Carbon dating tests revealed that the door was 300 years older than Shah Jahan. European traveler Johan Albert Mandelslo, who visited Agra in 1638 (only seven years after Mumtaz's death), describes the life of the city in his memoirs. But he makes no reference to the Taj Mahal being built. The writings of Peter Mundy, an English visitor to Agra within a year of Mumtaz's death, also suggest the Taj was a noteworthy building well before Shah Jahan's time. Prof. Oak points out a number of design and architectural inconsistencies that support the belief of the Taj Mahal being a typical Hindu temple rather than a mausoleum. Many rooms in the Taj ! Mahal have remained sealed since Shah Jahan's time and are still inaccessible to the public. Oak asserts they contain a headless statue of Lord Shiva and other objects commonly used for worship rituals in Hindu temples. Fearing political backlash, Indira Gandhi's government tried to have Prof. Oak's book withdrawn from the bookstores, and threatened the Indian publisher of the first edition dire consequences. There is only one way to discredit or validate Oak's research. The current government should open the sealed rooms of the Taj Mahal under U.N. supervision, and let international experts investigate.

This presents photographs (listed below) that show the Vedic influence found in such buildings as the Taj Mahal, Red Fort, and other structures in India. It also presents photos of drawings and art that have been discovered from other parts of the world, such as Arabia, Egypt, Greece and Italy, that show a definite Vedic influence. No matter whether you accept all of this or not, it nonetheless makes for an extremely fascinating and interesting story. Take a look and decide for yourself what you think. Also, let other people know about these, or download them to print and use them for your own displays in your temple, office or home.

We have all heard how the Taj Mahal, which is considered one of the great wonders of the world, was built as the preeminent expression of a man's love for a wife. That it was built by emperor Shah Jahan in commemoration of his wife Mumtaz. However, in our continuous effort to get to the truth, we have recently acquired some very important documents and information. There is evidence that the Taj Mahal was never built by Shah Jahan. Some say the Taj Mahal pre-dates Shah Jahan by several centuries and was originally built as a Hindu or Vedic temple/palace complex. Shah Jahan merely acquired it from its previous owner, the Hindu King Jai Singh.

This controversy is something I have explained more thoroughly in my book, "Proof of Vedic Culture's Global Existence." So, for those who want to know the details of this issue, you can find it there. And here is the photographic evidence that will provide greater insights into this. The point to consider is how much more of India's history has been distorted if the background of such a grand building is so inaccurate.

These photographs are taken from an album that was found and then smuggled out of India. On the back of each photo there is a stamp mark that says, "Archaeology Survey of India." This signifies their authenticity and that they were the property of that institution. This means a number of things: That the Archaeology Survey of India (ASI) has been researching the evidence that proves the Taj Mahal and many other buildings were not of Muslim origin, and that they know this information but remain silent about it. It also shows that in spite of this evidence they refuse to open up further research that would reveal the true nature and originality of the buildings, and lead to understanding another part of the real history and glory of India.

These photos are black and white and were found in a simple photo album in India. Except for old age and some water damage on some of them (creating white spots in areas), most are still in relatively good condition. Each photograph was accompanied by a typed caption taped in the album near the photo, each of which gives a very interesting explanation of the subject and the Vedic influence recognized on the building and what it means. The captions accompany the photos on the following pages just as they were written in the album, so the style of English and the explanations are kept the same. I did not write them myself. They are obviously written from an Indian perspective. Whatever I may say about the photos are displayed in brackets [ ]. Otherwise I let the captions and photos speak for themselves. Some of these photos will show areas of the Taj where the public has no access, or what is rarely seen or noticed.

It is because of the manipulation of history by invaders that the true greatness of India and Vedic culture has been stifled or hidden. And it is time that people everywhere realize how numerous lies and false propaganda have been passed around as if it were the truth in regard to India and its past, as well as its art, archeology, and the wonder of its culture. India and its Vedic society was one of the preeminent civilizations of the world, as I explained in "Proof of Vedic Culture's Global Existence." Now, through the increasing amount of revealing evidence that is being uncovered, that greatness of India's past and its contributions to the world are gradually being recognized. It is because of this that it is now time to rewrite the history of India.

ADDITIONAL ONLINE ARTICLES

"The Question of the Taj Mahal" (Itihas Patrika, vol 5, pp. 98-111, 1985) by P. S. Bhat and A. L. Athavale is a profound and thoroughly researched and well balanced paper on the Taj Mahal controversy. This paper goes well with the photographs listed below. It uncovers the reasons for the rumors and assumptions of why it is said that Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal, and presents all the inconsistencies of why that theory doesn't hold up. It also covers such things as the descriptions found in the old Agra court papers on the Taj; descriptions and measurements of the building in the old records; Aurangzeb's letter of the much needed repairs even in 1632 which is unlikely for a new building; records that reveal Shah Jahan acquired marble but was it enough for really building the Taj or merely for inlay work and decorative coverings; the observations of European travelers at the time; the actual age of the Taj; how the architecture is definitely of Indian Hindu orientation and could very well have been designed as a Shiva temple; the issue of the arch and the dome; how the invader Timurlung (1398) took back thousands of prisoner craftsmen to build his capital at Samarkhand and where the dome could have been incorporated into Islamic architecture; how it was not Shah Jahan's religious tolerance that could have been a reason for Hindu elements in the design of the Taj; how the direction of the mosque does not point toward Mecca as most mosques do; the real purpose of the minarets at the Taj; the Hindu symbolism recognized in the Taj which would not have been allowed if it was truly Muslim built; and even as late as 1910 the Encyclopaedia Britannica included the statement by Fergusson that the building was previously a palace before becoming a tomb for Shah Jahan; and more. A most interesting paper.

"An Architect Looks at the Taj Mahal Legend" by Marvin Mills, is a great review of the information available on the Taj Mahal and raises some very interesting questions that make it obvious that the Taj could not have been built the way or during the time that history presents, which makes it more like a fable than accurate history. This suggests a construction date of 1359 AD, about 300 years before Shah Jahan.

The True Story of the Taj Mahal. This article by P. N. Oak (from Pune, India) provides an overview of his research and lists his 109 proofs of how the Taj Mahal was a pre-existing Hindu temple palace, built not by Shah Jahan but originally at least 500 years earlier in 1155 AD by Raja Paramardi Dev as a Vedic temple. Mr. P. N. Oak is another who has done much research into this topic, and such a study is hardly complete without considering his findings. The evidence he presents here is a most interesting read, whether you agree with it all or not, or care for some of the anger in his sentiment. Mr. Oak has presented his own conclusions in his books, most notably Taj Mahal--The True Story (ISBN: 0-9611614-4-2).

The Letter of Aurangzeb ordering repairs on the old Taj Mahal in the year just before it is said to have been completed.

The Badshahnama is the history written by the Emporer's own chronicler. This page shows how Aurangzeb had acquired the Taj from the prevous owner, Jai Singh, grandson of Raja Mansingh, after selcting this site for the burial of Queen Mumtaz.

This site http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A5220 gives the BBC's view on the Taj Mahal and briefly explains both sides of the story, that maybe Shah Jahan built the Taj and maybe he didn't.

Be Indian Buy Indian

Before 5 months 1 CAN $ = IND Rs 32
After 5 months. Now it is 1 CAN $ = IND Rs 37
I don't think so, Canadian Economy is booming, but Indian Economy is Going Down ..
Our Economy is in ur hands.Do u know this, INDIAN economy is in a crisis - As you are all aware! INDIA like many other ASIAN countries, INDIA is undergoing a severe economic crunch. Many INDIAN industries are closing down. More than 30000 crore rupees of foreign exchange are being siphoned out of our country on products such as cosmetics, snacks, tea, beverages...etc which are grown, produced and consumed here.
A cold drink that costs only 70/80 paise to produce is sold for NINE rupees, and a major chunk of profits from these are sent abroad. It denies resources to the needy and makes commodities like water to be sold for a price. Ex. Kinley and Aquafina.
Did you know that " COCA COLA " and " SPRITE " belong to the same US MNC, "COCA COLA " ? On one hand coke advertisements say that ' JO CHAHO HOJAYE, COCACOLA ENJOY'(i.e . whatever the hell, let it happen, you drink coke) ; and on the other hand,Sprite says that 'BHUJAO ONLY PYAS, BAKI ALL BAKWAS' (i.e. drinks can just quench thirst all other claims are false). What can you do ?You can consider some of the better alternatives to aerated drinks. For that matter PEPSI is also the sameYou can drink LEMON JUICE, FRESH FRUIT JUICES, CHILLED LASSI (SWEET OR SOUR), BUTTER MILK, COCONUT WATER, JALJEERA, ENERJEE, MASALA MILK..........Everyone deserves a healthy drink, including you!Over and above all this, economic sanctions have been imposed on us.
We have nothing againstMultinational companies, but to protect our own interests we request everybody to use INDIAN products only for next two years. With the rise in petrol prices, if we do not do this, the rupee will devalue further and we will end up paying much more for the same products in the near future. What you can do about it ?
1. Buy only products manufactured by WHOLLY INDIAN COMPANIES.
2. ENROLL as many people as possible for this cause. Each individual should become a leader for this awareness. This is the only way to save our country from severe economic crisis. You don't need to give-up your lifestyle. You just need to choose an alternate product. All categories of products are available from WHOLLY INDIAN COMPANIES. LIST OF PRODUCTS

CLOTHES - STOP BUYING --ALAN PAINE, PETER ENGLAND, ARROW,LOUIS PHILLIPE, LEE, REEBOK,NIKE,VAN HUESEN,CALVIN KLIEN, RAID AND TAYLOR .Do you know that the cotton is produced in the INDIAN villages, threads are produced in the INDIAN towns, dresses are stitched in INDIAN cities and clothes are purchased by INDIAN customers? But it is BRANDED as MANUFACTURED BY A MNC for which we LOSE PRECIOUS FOREIGN EXCHANGE.
THE POINT TO NOTE: THE MONEY IS GOING TO SOME DEVELOPED COUNTRIES . It is TRUE.PLEASE go to the remote areas of cities AND SEE FOR YOURSELF THE TRUTH . Thousands of poor innocent INDIANS are working as tailors for stitching the WORLD'S POPULAR READYMADE CLOTHES(ALAN PAINE, PETER ENGLAND ETC.....) . BUT THEY ARE PAID A POOR AMOUNT.THIS IS HAPPENING BECUSE OF OUR IGNORANCE. INDIA IS ONE OF THE MAJOR TEXTILE EXPORTER IN THE WORLD. OUR TAILORS ARE FAMOUS EVEN IN COUNTRIES LIKE US AND UK.THEN WHY SHOULD WE BLINDLY GIVE IN TO THE ATTRACTION OF FOREIGN BRANDS? PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT.

Every INDIAN product you buy makes a big difference. It saves INDIA .Let us take a firm decision today.BUY INDIAN TO BE INDIAN we are not against of foreign products.WE ARE NOT ANTI-MULTINATIONAL.WE ARE TRYING TO SAVE OUR NATION. EVERY DAY IS A STRUGGLE FOR A REAL FREEDOM. WE ACHIEVED OUR INDEPENDENCE AFTER LOSING MANY LIVES.THEY DIED PAINFULLY TO ENSURE THAT WE LIVE PEACEFULLY . THE CURRENT TREND IS VERY THREATENING.MULTINATIONALS CALL IT GLOBALISATION OF INDIAN ECONOMY. FOR INDIANS LIKE YOU AND ME IT IS RECOLONISATION OF INDIA. THE COLONIST'S LEFT INDIA THEN. BUT THIS TIME THEY WILL MAKE SURE THEY DON'T MAKE ANY MISTAKES.WHO WOULD LIKE TO LET A"GOOSE THAT LAYS GOLDEN EGGS" SLIP AWAY.PLEASE REMEMBER : POLITICAL FREEDOM IS USELESS WITHOUT ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE.RUSSIA , S.KOREA, MEXICO........
THE LIST IS VERY LONG!!LET US LEARN FROM THEIR EXPERIENCE AND FROM OUR HISTORY.LET US DO THE DUTY OF EVERY TRUE INDIAN.FINALLY: IT'S OBVIOUS THAT U CAN'T GIVE UP ALL OF THE ITEMS MENTIONED ABOVE,SO GIVE UP ATLEAST ONE ITEM TO FOR THE SAKE OF OUR COUNTRY.LITTLE DROPS MAKE A GREAT OCEAN.

Chappel Effect

The Chappel effect on Indian Cricket has gone down to the grass root levels - the "Gulli Cricket". Good or bad person I hope the Indian Team holds its integrity and will rise above self-interests to become great country men and excellent sportmen leaving behind the money nd fame, for they come along all by themselves automatically and one never has to be bothered with them as long as one is ethical.

Hyderbaadi Language

A Hyderabadi on the road.
It some time looks stranger than fiction when a Hyderabadi while driving on the road feels that he is the 'king of the road' and the traffic rules are meant (only )to be broken, so don't ever cross the path of a Hyderabadi when he is on the move. In case if you cross his path, he invariably tries to get into an argument as if 'raking up a fight is in the blood' of Hyderabadi.Even if he is wrong, as the proverb goes "barking dogs seldom bites", he tries to get you by neck but the crowd around him stops him by holding his hands while he vainly tries to get his hand over you (a Hyderabadi seldom gets into fitscuffs )so don't worry you won't be beaten but you have to bear the choicest abuses in the Hyderabadi slang.

The Potti Patana Hyderabadi
So far so good, the other aspect of a hyderabadi life style or rather estyle is "potti patana". It is the favorite pastime for some while for others it is a fulltime job. A Hyderabadi would try all the tricks in the book and outside the book to get hold of the woman of his dreams. With the girls of the generation next it is "potta patana hai". If people in rest of India were carried over by the movie "Hyderabad Blues" that it is taboo for guys and girls to be seen in public together, then they are going to have a culture shock if they come to Hyderabad. So don't believe those confused desh returned non-real Indian (NRIs).If you don't believe me have a dhekko on the Necklace Road -the scene would put to shame even the overly romantic French.

Bindaas Batein
The bindaas attitude of Hyderabadis is personified in the numerous cafes of the city where in you get to see a whole lot of bindaas Hyderabadis sipping tea for hours together. One might wonder as to how these people have all the time in the world to indulge in such long sessions. There is so much of time available with folks over here that at times you have to literally ask them to go for want of peace.

The filmi Hyderabadi
Hyderabad has got the maximum number of theatres in India thanks to this vast bindaas population of the city. Can you believe that a small cross road over here boasts of almost one dozen theatres which are just a stone throw away from each other. Mind you, you will still have to buy the tickets in black over here. Most pictures run for over 100 days and people take hell a lot of pride in talking about the movies. "Kya picture hai baap". "Picture tho mast hai". The advance booking is over even before it actually begins.

Hyderabadi Baitak
Leave alone weekends, the "baitaks" over here are the order of even the weekdays. whenever a group of men meet together then its three cheers to their friendship and the corks are in the air. If pubs were given permission over here, then Hyderabad for sure would have one in every other lane. The best part is any good or bad, wonder or catastrophe, in this world is appended with a four letter slang word at the starting. The more you write the lesser it will be about the Hyderabadi baitaks.

The height of Hyderabadis
The bindaas attitude of Hyderabadis can very easily be tested by asking them just two questions. All that one has to do is just get on to a bus stand on the road and just pick up a friendly conversation with a typical Hyderabadi and ask him as to when the next bus would come. The instant reply you would get is "Abhi ata" (it will come just now). You wait and wait and the bus never comes and you ask him when it would come and he will say again the same thing. Meanwhile you would have wasted an hour or so waiting for the bus to come. Actually when an Hyderabadi says "Abhi ata", do take it for granted that it would come an hour or two later. On the other hand if you ask him as to when the last bus passed by ,he would say "Abhi gaya"(it just went), while in reality it would have left hours back.

I want to ride them all...

Ever since I saw Terminator T-800 Arnie ride one of those cool Harley Bike I fell in love with the bike. The bike in the movie Fatboy 91 model was my first view of what a cruiser bike was and sound of its beat was a music to any of the American bikers.
Best scene from the movie:
The tune "Bad to the Bone," the camera pans up showing Arnie fully dressed in the bruised biker's leather clothes. As he swings his leg over the biker's wheels, another biker appears at the diner's door with a shotgun, threatening that he can't take the man's bike. The cyborg turns and coldly stops, sets the bike's kickstand, and walks over to the guy. He quickly yanks the 10-gauge shotgun from the man, closes in, and then snatches the man's sunglasses from his shirt pocket. He puts them on and then takes off on the Harley.

http://groups.msn.com/ToddsHarleyPix/harleysincinemaparti.msnw

Nearly 13 years later I some how got closer to Indian Version of Harley the Royal Enfield Mini Bullet a 350cc bike, bulky and sturdy and yes lots of nice with classic vintage moulding and looks. It's gears and the brakes are interchanged making it that much difficult to control the Indian monster.

I had the privilege of using this bike for over 2 months during my summer vacation in 2005. After riding the bike and coming back to my stream lined Victor was a big drop. I suddenly felt my bike very light, free hands, almost silent, and I could easily maneuver through the gaps in-between. I miss the bike.

Anways during my MBA time I have been a lot many bike reports and cases. We did Splendor for Marketing Management, Marketing Research and Brand management, ad we did Yamaha a case and bike buying behaviour in Consumer Behaviour which ultimately sparked off an interest and dream to drive a higher cc sports bike apart from a Harley(V Twins or V Rods) or an Indian chief or a Big Dog. I wanna drive A sports-street bike in excess of 600cc preferably a Ducati, Kawasaki, BMW or a Honda.

Say a 600cc Honda CBR600RR or Yamaha R6, Suzuki GSX-R600, Ducati 749, and the Kawasaki ZX-6R. All of these babies cost in excess of 10000 USD, and will equally pick my pocket for every jolly ride. About the punch of these bikes there was a time not long ago when the middleweight sportbike class was a good place for newbies to cut their teeth. But for 2003, with 1/2km times that would embarrass any supercar one can care to mention, top speeds that reach upward of 160 miles per, and racetrack lap times that would scare a full-blown superbike from barely more than a decade ago, the [sportbikes] gathered here have limits that only the experienced can exploit.

I would love to lay my hands on any 1000cc 6 cylinders 5000+rpm bikes. I wanna hear the roar, feel the power and that bit of instant acceleration compared to a space shuttle take-off. Though I have to cautious enough not to throw myself off due to the high rpm spin. Yet I can't wait for that day ...Lets pray...wait...nd vroommmmm

Strange things happen ....

. As I woke up I realized that a lot has changed, my house is deserted with rooms empty but the hall filled with lots of books (of my brothers collection - don't know how he had the collection). In one of the rooms was my old Desky sitting over and covered with dust. Everything looks so scary and strange. I open the shelves they too are empty, looks like our home has been empty for long time. I go back to my college I need to attend SEPM class today. As I hurry in I see all new faces now faculty everything is new. As I enquire it was PGP11 something class.
Now how the hell did that happen, I have no clue. I go to PGP office I found no Vinod, no Jyotish or Sadanand or even John I find a lady there in place of Vinod, I enquire her, what's going on, only then I realise that all my PGP08 batchmates have passed out and its been 3 years now. I am still to complete my course.
What happened to me last night it was ok now I woke up 3 years later. Last night I was working for my BDC term paper, made some 18 pages of crap on Netbanking then slept off at around 3.33. I slept that dreadful night only to slip into a long comma. My parents waited for my recovery and left for my brothers place in US now, I am all alone I don't know about Poo and her numbers. Tried to trace my closest friend Madhu even that didn't bear any fruit. Everything is so scary. Any ways I still had to complete my classes so go sit for one
on SEPM. He was asking for a submission. That night I start analysing and do a report and next day in class I submit, I was among 40% of the class to submitted rest took it lightly, I and prof vert equally surprised. I remember submitting the report on West Coast on Military B2B softwares. All through I m being haunted by images of past which I can't correlate. My house looks tall with roof with false ceilings taken awy. Much of the house empty. I have no one to ask and get reply. Then some elderly couple do come to pick up some books from the hall I can't recognise them nor them. Anyways I am still trying hard to recollect. My old mate my Talking clock said its 8 o'Clock am, so sweet to hear my old pal which so loyally has been reporting time all through my school life till date. I wondered why it didn't report time the next morning. I am confused and still thinking hard..Now my Talking clock said its 10 o'Clock am...I just woke up and realised I was dreaming ...I m still thinking what's this all about!!!
Its just woke been 5 minutes back, 30 more minutes for closure of Mess breakfast now, today one of my Fav on campus Rava Upma. I can't wait to have it, but still I felt this is important to write it down before I forget.
I had the strangest dream in my years...Will try to fit in what it meant

Five Point Someone - What Not to do at IIT, by Chetan Bhagat

If one is an an IITian, one would probably relate very well to this light-hearted narrative about the life of three average guys at the IIT, Delhi. And also gave a chance to let me know what an average IITian is !! . Being in IIM with lots of friends from IITsI was wondering how true are the incidents or probability of occurance of such things . I was truly shocked and awestruck when I realised people and young student are letting away their most constructive period of life into evils of mankind in the name of fun and cheap shortcuts for success. The book may be about life in IIT, but the characters are so unreal for me, I have to agree I have been a frog in the well still I feel its very un-IIT like. According to the author, Chetan Bhagat, this book is not about how to get into IIT or what to do once you are in, but what not to do there.

Bhagat creates three tolerable characters Hari, Ryan and Alok, who blunder through their four years at IIT, caught in the grip of their own failures, fears and the inability to fight a system designed to keep the underdog down under. Hari, a boy with a disciplinarian military father and a stuttering to authority problem, Alok with a physically dysfunctional father and a neurotic mother embedded in middle class poverty, and Ryan with an alienated family far away from him in foreign lands and a picture perfect body that houses an inquisitive and innovative rebel, form an improbable threesome which quickly results into a plausible camaraderie. They bonded on ragging day and in spite of the ups and downs bad results, fights, misunderstandings, troubles, love affairs, show downs in class, confrontation with professors become best friends who share their smokes, booze, porn and assignments.

One of the highest points of the novel is the way Ryan comes up with fool proof ways of defeating the system, only to be proved a fool himself. His C2D Cooperate to Dominate is perhaps one the most hilarious bits in a novel that tries too hard to be funny and fails spectacularly at it. Hari has a love affair and author adds all the masala and all the take to the heels scenes and I am intelligent HOD. Alok's attempts at rising above the poverty and despair he's living in and tries to be "family kaa bhoj utaanelwaala". Ryan's constant attempts at creating a family out of his friends in order to substitute his biological family are repetitive and not fairly described.
The novel is so keen on telling the story & functionally tells the story without letting us enter either the characters or their situations in detail. The plot outline is bare enough Hari falls in love with Neha, Ryan falls in love with his work which is independent of itself and Alok falls in love with ghee smeared paranthas (wat are those heard Parathas). In a desperate attempt to improve their situations in life they try many strategies which would allow them to enjoy life ; movies, girls, eating out, squash, booze parties.
However, worst of the story was disastrous attempt at Operation Pendulum stealing examination papers to come out with flying colours and getting caught at it. The DISCO - promises to ruin their lives forever when in a sudden twist things fall into place and three five point some people live happily ever after. It's very wrong that Bhagat t makes these three losers become heroes and how they rise above the system to come into their own might is what Five Point Someone is all about.
Five Point Someone, like its protagonists, is just fairly acceptable and not worth a second read. There is nothing memorable or particular in the novel that will want you to pick it up. Five Point Someone is like a cheap Bollywood movie that makes its money simply because it was cheap.

This has been only book (novel) I read in years nd years 270pgs of it in 8hrs something. The book made me glues to it all through coz of 1.Neha episode 2. Are they gonna become winners 3.How are they gonna turn things around
But the book made the characters from bad to worse.Situations deteriorated..from boozing to smoking joints, plotting leaking the exams..It poisons the mind of young readers though its supposed to be fun accepting such habits and culture in top institutes like IITs is turning a blind eye to degradation of culture.

Young people like us have to be constantly fed with constructive literature which can help him become a positive person capable of turning round the country. Taking drugs, borrowing western habits and culture, have prejudices towards the system, taking things into own hands, language etc etc ..I hated the book a lot and that's why I read it...People have to make sure that things don't get publicity and are contained tight. Everyone have to ensure that youth of India need to have a positive upbringing in Life and for that they need to be guided by positive and inspirational books unlike Sidney Sheldons, Chetan Bhagats etc...

Mood: Gloomy--Worried --- Confused

Today seems like one of the worst mood swings ever I had in quiet some time. This was just round the corner after the incident on Nov 8th. Nov 8th was the best days this term nd the very next day turned out to be the inroad to a very bad phase. Poorni got a job on 7th nice one, hope it make her more secure. I went shopping next day got her some stuff nd mailed it on 9th. I also got a trendy looking pair of glasses worth 1100/-(now that's on a high side by my standards)

Now for the bad part, I went for delivery of my glasses and Suman's on 10th. I had planned my lunch at Raahat (thats'z the new place I & Suman dinned on 8th). I firstly was made to wait for good 20min before even taking a order, then was served chilly Beef which I unknowingly took it (aawww...Considering am Veggie this is unacceptable to me). Then to the delivery Suman happened to have got a bumper lottery he got a new CRC (colour reflection coat) without even paying for the same. Wherein he ordered only a plain white glass. Then on my way back I was almost runover by a frenzy bus driver who nearly took me out on the entire road breadth. Had Came back shaken completely that day only to get another shock.

I've taken some short positions in the stock market which I wasn't able to close as I was out and moreover the net on the campus was down. This lead to huge loss for me due to this debabckles. Later I got laid by 8500/- 41% loss due to me being fined for short delivery. This too happened on 10th.One more thing came as shocking discovery , a revelation by chak. fact that I was actually loosing money by holding stocks with Kotakon Margin. I was being charged 18% per day on 5400 for good 20 days with I not even realising. What ever went into my Kotak account never seems to come back.

Next the bad set of consequences of 8th spilled over. As Mads wld put it, we patched up..I hardly can put it that way. It was only but getting worse. We had major differences on working for a ER paper on Pantaloons. I was planning to divide time nd devote to write three ER paper spanning across 7 days ultimately the plan had to suffice. I am a sort of person who needs some moral backup & understanding. I was pinned down by so many of her suggestions which I can't take in. I say let them come but be it in a neat fashioned way. And as my belief goes " how can one preach without oneself practicing". I only believe in practicing first before preaching. Thats why I try to carve my character in the same fashion and try to reflect, associate the same to others.

Nov 12th onwards our group was continuously being scrutinized by BMPP faculty here for the work we put on Hero Honda. Seeing the commitment levels of our group what else I can deliver. I had to resort to last minute firefigthing (I hate such a thing) & I gave a report of 35 pages something wherein majority of group members gave no more than a page report maximum being 4 pages. One particular member PremChand didn't even bother to complete his part of work, never even bothered to confirm, verify the same.. This guy made sure that our group got the least grade in BDC too. On 16th we met the faculty at his Guest House and requested and promised that we would deliver more appropriate more (meaning more work for me). I got to work for 2 days nd 2 nights nd put a completely revamped report. Am yet to get his feedback. Will have to meet him again on Saturday and decide on the presentation.

IIFT Street was another mess. One night one of the nights(16th)we have no net connection and ultimately had to miss the entire round and chance of even thinking of winning this event. I dreamt of completing all the securities ( Forex, Equities, cldn't beat it in Commodities). As it wasn't enough the server access to the site was too pathetic and any times rounds pased by without us even getting through the orders. Apart from IIFT Street I cldn't even sit to compete for ITopia that night hosted the elimination phase.

As not enough the woos continue today. Mads is gone bonkers, Overheard mods dico on Brahminism when I wanted to talk something on this met shift resistance and some weird mental projection which has upset me for me entire day. I hope I become more self-centric from now on..more into myself..more me ..more into a shell and be self liniment-being from now on rather than looking for support.
I hated mads behaviour ...can't take it anymore..I hate this phase of term..I feel like loosing my balance of mind. Today I am also feeling dizzy today coz of migraine. And worst I am not able to any of my friends who surely think I am crazy(true) nor to Poorni else I would burning a bigger hole in my already drained pockets by calling her, also I don't want to spoil her independance and happiness.

I need to stay focused and look beyond, Priortise and come into action...God almighty give me Strength for everything ..I want u by my side I m in tears while writing this...I hope you understand ...Sorry for last Saturday..I kindaa ignored you, missed the day. I believe that the events of this week were on the backdrop of that visit. I will surely do the things I thought off this month.

My Birthdate: September 27

I am a spiritual soul - a person who tries to find meaning in everything.
I spend a good amount of time meditating, trying to figure out life.
Helping others is also important to me. I seem to enjoy social activities with that goal.
I am very generous and giving ? Yet I expect very little in return.

My strength: Getting along with anyone and everyone
My weakness: Needing a good amount of downtime to recharge
My power color: Cobalt blue
My power symbol: Dove
Your power month: September

My Heart Is Blue

Love is a doing word for me. I know it's love when I treat each other well.
I am a giving lover, but don't give too much, andexpect something in return.

My flirting style: Friendly
My lucky first date: Lunch at an outdoor cafe
My dream lover: Is both generous and selfish
What I bring to relationships: Loyalty
Anyways blue happens to be my fav colour

My Brain's Pattern

My brain is always looking for the connections in life.
I always try amaze your friends by figuring out things first.
I am also good at connecting people - and often play match maker.
I see the world in fluid, flexible terms. Nothing is black or white.

My Power Color Is Gold
At my Highest:
I am engrossed in passions that mentally stimulate myself.

At my Lowest:
I seek thrills and neglect what's important in my life.

In Love:
I see dating as adventure and approach it with an open attitude.

How am I Attractive:
You passion for life makes others passionate about you.

My Eternal Question:

"Am I Having Fun?" <---True :-)

My Sleeping Position Says

I am calm and rational.
I am also giving and kind - a great friend.
I am easy going and trusting.
However, I seem to be too sensible to fall for mind games.

I am 50% Boyish and 50% Girlish

I am pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch. Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But I do get along with both sexes.
I reject traditional gender roles.

However, I don't actively fight them.
I am just myself. I don't try to be what people expect me to be.

My Ideal Relationship is Casual Dating

Maybe you're looking for love...
But mostly you're looking for fun.
I could get serious with the right person.
For now, though, I am enjoying playing the field.

My Seduction Style: Prized Object

The seduction game I play is tried, true, and still effective: hard to get.
I know that the best seducers turn the tables - and get their crush to seduce them.
The one running has the power, and I am a challenge that is worth the chase.

I a master of enticing and pulling back. Giving a little and taking some away.
I am controlled enough to know rewards come after a long seduction dance.
Even though I want to call, email, or say "I love you" first - I don't!

My style is the perfect mix of hot and cold - so much so that I have many suitors.
Think Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's ... or any of those creepy guys from the Bachelor.
I am skilled at inspiring a chase. The real test is picking the person to slow down for.

How am I "In Love"

I in love quickly and easily. And very often.
I tend to give more than take in relationships.
I tend to get very attached when I am with someone. I want to see my love all the time.
I love my partner unconditionally and don't try to make them change.
I stay in love for a long time, even if I am not loved back. When I fall, I fall hard.

I am Balanced - Believer - Powerful

I feel my life is controlled both externally and internally.
I have a good sense of what I can control and what I should let go.
Depending on the situation, I sometimes try to exert more control.
Other times, I accept things for what they are and go with the flow.

I am a true believer in luck, fate, and karma.
I believe that life is a game of chance - not a game of skill.
I either consider myself very unlucky or very lucky.
No matter what, I don't feel like I can change the hand I dealt.

When it comes to who's in charge, it's ME!!.
Life is a kingdom, and am the grand ruler.
I don't care much about what others think.
But they better care what I think!

My World View

I claim to be a realist or even a cynic.
In realty, I am are more emotional, romantic, and truthful.
I tend to life in a fantasy world and avoid reality.
If I amnot living a happy life, the cause is within myself.
Born rebel with a trace of spoiled child about me.
I value truth above morality, but am reasonably tolerant of those who disagree with me.

Slow and Steady

My friends see me as painstaking and fussy.
They see me as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder.

It'd really surprise them if I ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment.

They expect me to examine everything carefully from every angle and then usually decide against it.

Your Blog Should Be Red

My blog is full of intensity and passion.
I am are very opinionated - and people love or hate you for it.
I have the potential to be both a famous and infamous blogger.

Classic Lover

The Classic Lover45% partner focus, 42% aggressiveness, 35% adventurousness
Based on the results of this test, it is highly likely that:
I prefer my romance and love to be traditional rather than daring or out-of-the-ordinary, I would rather be pursued than do the pursuing and, when it comes to physical love, I concentrate more on enjoying the experience rather than worrying about my performance. This places me in the Lover Style of: The Classic Lover. The Classic Lover is a wonderful Lover Style, and is the closest it comes to the classic images of the princess in the tower, or the romantic and chivalrous knight, or the hero/heroine from a Disney film. The Classic Lover is a treasure to find, though it can be difficult to do so because they sometimes tend to be shy and/or difficult to successfully court. In terms of physical love, the Classic Lover again can be shy, and often needs more in terms of emotional security to feel comfortable than some of the other Types. Given the right setting, and the right lover, the Classic Lover can be a delight in bed. Best Compatibility can probably be found with: The Romantic Lover (most of all) or the Devoted Lover, or the Liberated Lover.

7 Trading Mistakes one shouldnot make

I learnt the following the hard way!

MISTAKE ONE
Lack of Knowledge and No Plan
It amazes us that some people expect to trade the stock market successfully without any effort. The stock market is not the place for the ill informed. But learning what you need is straightforward – you just need someone to show you the way.
The opposite extreme of this is those traders who spend their life looking for opportunity of trading! Been there, done that!
The truth is, there is sitter. But the good news is that you don't need it. Our trading system is highly successful, easy to learn and low risk.

MISTAKE TWO
Unrealistic Expectations
Many traders expect to make thousands by next week. Or they start to write out their resignation letter before they have even placed their first trade!. The stock market can be a great way to replace your current income and for creating wealth but it does require time. Not a lot, but some.
So don't tell your boss where to put his job, just yet! Other beginners think that trading can be 100% accurate all the time. Of course this is unrealistic. But the best thing is that with our methods one needs to get 50-60% of your trades "right" to be successful and highly profitable.

MISTAKE THREE
Listening to Others
When traders first start out they often feel like they know nothing and that everyone else has the answers. So they listen to all the news reports and so called "experts" and get totally confused. Taking "tips" from their buddy, who got it from dabaa walaa…
Get to judge your instincts and do your home work and never have to listen to anyone else, ever again!

MISTAKE FOUR
Getting in the Way
By this we mean letting your ego or your emotions get in the way of doing what you know you need to do.
When you first start to trade it is very difficult to control your emotions. Fear and greed can be overwhelming. Lack of discipline; lack of patience and over confidence are just some of the other problems that we all face.
It is critical you understand how to control this side of trading. There is also one other key that almost no one seems to talk about. But more on this another time!

MISTAKE FIVE
Poor Money Management
It never ceases to amaze us how many traders don't understand the critical nature of money management and the related area of risk management.
This is a critical aspect of trading. If you don't get this right you not only won't be successful, you won't survive!
Fortunately, it is not complex to address and the simple steps we can show you will ensure that you don't "blow up" and that you get to keep your profits.

MISTAKE SIX
Only Trading Market in One Direction
Most new traders only learn how to trade a rising market. And very few traders know really good strategies for trading in a falling market.
If you don't learn to trade "both" sides of the market, you are drastically limiting the number of trades you can take. And this limits the amount of money you can make.
We can show you a simple strategy that allows you to profit when stocks fall.

MISTAKE SEVEN
Overtrading
Most traders new to trading feel they have to be in the market all the time to make any real money. And they see trading opportunities when they're not even there (we’ve been there too).
We can show you simple techniques that ensure you only "pull the trigger" when you should. And how trading less can actually make you more!

Stages of evolution of a trader (as I m going through and observed others go through).Trading normally comes in these steps.
1. Try to predict the market
2. Failure
3. Overlaying indicators to predict the market.
4. Failure
5. Chopping and changing strategies to predict. (Gann, candles Fibonacci usually become part of the vocabulary at this point)
6. Failure
7. Seeking/creating a profitable trading system.
8. Failure to trade it with discipline.
9. Failure
10. Failure
11. Failure

Snacks and food personalites

I am having my CB exam tommorow and am passing time surfing some useless sites. And thought of blogging the same.
Just heard that women have more accute sense of taste than men. 35% of woman are SuperTasters( who have double the number of average taste buds) while only 15% of men are SuperTasters. You can take the senses challenge to get some intersting info.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/body/interactives/senseschallenge/

2nd one is from my CB book about personality traits based on snacking
Potato Chip eater - Is an ambitious, succesful, high achiever, impatieny with less than the best
---> I love them but they are costly ...nd none of the traits seems to fit me looser
Tortilla Chips - Irrelavant unknown item for me
Pretzels - Lively, easily bored --well don't know them either
Snack Crackers- Rational, logical, contemplative, shy nd prefer being alone
---> my typoo
Cheese curls - Irrelavant
Nuts - Easy going, empaththetic, understanding, calm, even tempered
Popcorn - Takes charges, pitches in often, modest, self confident
Meat Snacks - Greagarious, generous, trust worthy, tends to be overly trusting

This is from 'What Flavor is Your Personality?' by Alan Hirsch reported in the Raleigh News and Observer this morning: Some research findings about food preferences:
1) People who like vanilla ice cream are lively, energetic and the life of the party; people who like spicier flavors are more reserved.
2) Gentlemen get fired up over the scent of pumpkin pie; the secret to romancing a lady can be found in a box of Good & Plenty candy.
3) Women are turned off by the smell of cherries and men's cologne. (Be forewarned, guys -- buy her a box of Good & Plentys!) No scent has yet been found that turns men off.

Now here is the test:
1. Which group of fruits and vegetables do you prefer?
a) oranges, bananas, and grapes b) eggplant, corn and tomatoes

2. Do you like spicy pickles? Yes or No

3. Which do you prefer: (choose one from each pair)
a) green olives or black olives b) pecans or almonds c) pickles or cucumbers

4. Which do you prefer? (choose one from each pair)
a) lemons or oranges b) potatoes or sweet potatoes c) grapefruit or tangerines

Answers:
1. If you prefer
a) fruits, you are a strong-minded, ambitious, aggressive and dominant individual who is a natural leader;
b) vegetables, it indicates you tend to be introspective, self-searching and sensitive to the needs of others.
2. Spicy pickles tend to indicate pessimism; a "no" answer tends to indicate optimism.
3. If two or more of your answers are the first choice (green olives, pecans, or pickles) you tend to be assertive in your relationships and enthusiastic in everything you do. Although anxious at times, you are a decisive and resilient person. If two or more of your answers are the second choice (black olives, almonds, or cucumbers) you tend to take responsibility for your own actions, you are self-confident and a natural leader.
4. If two or more answers are the first choice
(lemons, potatoes or grapefruit) you tend to be reserved, quiet and contemplative and are not generally compulsive. If two or more are the second choice
(oranges, sweet potatoes and tangerines) you are likely an outgoing, gregarious person with a good sense of humor who enjoys a stable relationship.

One for All, All for one ---- Summit

Nov 18th decided to update this post

Here we go
Summit the highest point for anyone be it a mountaineer, rock climber, an upcomming artist, a corporate, an engineer ,any person in any walk of life some day thinks of being at the Summit.
To reach there is real achievement and celebration within would be immense. Once would be extremely fortunate enough as he has achieved something which is unique not only to himself but which is different from all the others. A real differentiating factor one can boost of at that moment. But one has to be aware that competition is never far behind they will catch up nd make a new summit which is to be scaled to be achiever. Its something of a rat race but it always keeps coming back.
One has to realise that there is only one top for everyone and only one can be there no matter what. Reaching the top needs hard work, dedication, endurance to take in pain , immense stamina, strength, attitude and lot of support from many levels of humanity and divinity. As though they are not sufficient enough maintaining and sustaining the success and position is even more difficult. Almost all the top brands and corporates at all levels feel it. A Microsoft is always on a back burner with competition from all spheres, a Linux when it came to being it never cared a damn about Microsoft nor Microsoft gave a damn, but not Linux already has over 25% of the market share in Network OS nd threatens the position of likes of Microsoft in PC segment which it assembled and nurtured from scratch.
Its difficult and never easy and letting it go is not at all an answer for a happy life. One has to be in competition and self realisation and motivation will automaticaly push the person ahead. The belief and self -realisation has to be always there and better we people start trying for it. Now!!! Now is never late than ever !!!

Changing times

Offlate I 've noticed a change in my schedules. These days I am sleeping quiet late, and it is usually after 2 or 2.30 that I get to sleep. Considering a strict follower of time till atleast the end of the 1st year, this changed a bit in the 4th term. This owed some bit to Madhu, where we used to sit and have long Y! Chats about personalities and personality differences. Added to this we usually had this game playing sessions of BZ-Flag right through the early morning hours. So some how I felt into the groove and got accustomed.
A change from this 4th term only aggravated in this 5th term. I started to watch movies late. After doing some work, usually after 2am, I started of to see movies and usually stayed up staying awake till 4.30am in the morning, surprisingly enough I do get up before the breakfast is closed. Thats around 9.45-10am types.
This is of particular importance cause I used to get quiet early in the morning in te first year so that I could study in the morning hours. I then used to get up at around 6.30 - 7 am types. First thing I used to do was to switch on the system and start playing hungama trivia. And I did win lots of goodies too, somehow I don't feel like soing it nor I am that dedicated to any of the gaming and promo sites which I used to show such high enthusiasm and interest levels.
Another change over the last term is of maintaining of my room, I atleast tried to beautify the room, get some drapes in, have some posters, nd carpets spread out. Two main influencers for me in this pretext are Amos, who keeps & tries to keep his surroundings sparkle clean and Madhul. One is supposed to give a good feel if one expects good company. Also personally I felt I need to make the room lively for me to have vitality and be active, as the surroundings reflect my course of action.
Starting from last term I started using a lot of incense in the room. I am never used to lighting one at my home or outside. Having developed this habit atleast I am not missing an opportunity to devote some time for God and pay respects to them and thank them for all they have provided. And I sincerely hope that I do this on a regular basis. I feel I've not done good not taking an active role on Vinayaka Chaturdi at my home and also by not going to temple during the last visit, for which I feel I was duly returned.

Starvation ....Finally one of Prabhas's action movie

Today 16th Oct I watched Prabhas's Sriya Starrer Raja Mouli's Chatrapathi. It's a quiet enjoyable movie, with good decent stunt and action work. Raja Mouli is known to give good action flicks and he precisely did that in the movie. He used the brilliance of cinematography under Senthil, which I guess was backed up by his performance in Sye another Raja Mouli's enjoyable youthful movie.
Anyways I have been a fan( not a hardcore) of Prabhas Trisha starrer Varsham movie, which I watched totally by circumstance. I found him very hardworking and had a determination to come up. His body language shows clear focus and urge to succeed. I like him above many other stars be it Mahesh Babu, Pavan Kalyan, Tarun and many others. This guy has a good personality and those looks needed for an action hero. I do prefer Nitin Reddy, NTR junior in some of the roles. But can't stand Mahesh Babu and Tarun.
For the movie Chatrapathi i happened to get it early in the morning and I couldn't wait till the night to watch the movie. Right after having my breakfast I sat for the movie and started of my morning show which c included at lunch around 1pm. I had to go for lunch and then to SEPM class too. Anyways the movie brought back to me the happiness I thought was missing on campus. The movie provided me with the much needed spark to get along with life. The movie I liked everybit of it, right through, I only hated venu madhav in the come and go comedy role in-between. Else I felt everything was in place. Sriya I like this girl specifically for her looks from the lips. She as the most unique smile I ever seen. Though a small role she's made a good performance in the film. But have to agree that Varsham role of Trisha was damn good for a heroine beside Prabhas.
I sincerely can't wait long for another Prabhas's movie was his second movie for me this year, the earlier was Chakram which was a good opener for Charmi though the movie tanked, thanks that the audience have to live with the fact that the hero has no villains in the movie and the only villain was the story writer who kills the star Prabhas to the horror of the audience.
But this movie actually projected the most macho image of Prabhas and somehow made him superhuman being. Fine as long as people like me can live with them the movie lives on. If the movie was to be scripted with NTR junior it would have been a huge sensational hit, but seems like with smaller fan following Prabhas movies will take time to be bigger hits.
Final comparison between Varsham and Chatrapathi, Varsham was totally a romantic action movie and Trisha had a very good character and acted too good in the movie. In Chatrapthi Hero has been glorified, and is based on Son-Mother sentiment with a social cause in an action oriented backdrop, heroine has anything solid to show off in such a circumstance, so it scores quiet below Varsham.
Ultimately a good movie for action bluffs.
