Sleepy Personality !!

Sleeping Sideways
Those who sleep sideways are calm and peaceful people. They are not overly excitable nor are they particularly sensitive. They are steady, do what they are expected, and get the most they can out of life, but they do not drive themselves crazy while attempting to "get ahead."

Sleeping Face-down
People who sleep face-down are serious and stubborn. They hold strong beliefs and try to have everything done precisely the way they want them. They are tense and focused, and they do not give ground easily. The most important things in my LIFE areNot THINGS!!

Sleeping Face-up
Those who sleep face-up are confident and optimistic. Concerns and worries that wear others down have little effect on these people. Their attitude is "lucky go happy," and they are not particularly keen on planning or scheming. Occasionally such an attitude render them vulnerable to unpleasant surprises and setbacks.

Sleeping in the Fetal-Position
Those who sleep in the fetal position are trusting, natural, and communal. They tend to look at the world in rosy colors, and treat people kindly. They do not want to see and think about the darker side of life, and above all they long for security, intimacy, and joy.

The way the Sunsigns say Sorrys

ARIES
For starters, Arians think they are so sweet, they could not have possibly said or done things that need an apology. So in the unlikely possibility of them actually going down their knees to apologise, it will be a simple sorry.Nothing less, nothing more!!

TAURUS
They are so scared to face others when they make a mistake that by the time they resurface to tender an apology, the damage is done. So Taurans end up making foes out of friends because of their laxity in apologizing

GEMINI
Geminis think they are infallible and therefore will never really apologise for anything. But once they realize, they prefer to act as if nothing happened, and behave normally with people who have a problem rather than remind others of the incident by tendering an apology.

CANCER
Cancerians will make you feel sorry for demanding one when they make a mistake. They are the legendary characters that burn hands and slash their fingers in order to display the quantum of their repentance. Their repentance is dangerous!!

VIRGO
Virgos will first formally set aside a time and date and inform them what they want to tell you. Then they will mentally prepare themselves to talk out the same things. They will finally draft the script and read out whatever they want to. In short, even their heartfelt apologies sound like well-drafted scripts.

LIBRA
They are very vocal once they realize their folly. They never ever hesitate to come clean and admit their mistakes. In fact, they will go out of their way to convince you about how genuinely sorry they are

SCORPIO
Scorpios are formal and think that tendering an apology is more of a formality. So instead of just saying sorry, they will send a formal mail or send a card, whatever it takes to avoid direct confrontation.

CAPRICORN
They can't take a simple sorry. They need reasons, explanations, written letters and the works to get elicit an 'ok, you may go now' phrase. They are hard to please and even harder to appease.

AQUARIUS
They are sweet, genuine and innovative when they think they are wrong and need to undo the damage.Aquarians are easy on their mistakes and don't take too much time to do their sorrying.

PISCES
Pisceans don't easily give in because they believe that everything is about perspective. So if somebody thinks they made a mistake!!, it's because they have a wonky perspective.Pisceans and apologies? No chance!!!

Curtains for my Genpact Career

Yesterday the 9th of April marked an end of milestone, I finally bid farewell to my career with Genpact after 2 years of service with Genpact. My association with Genpact started as early as October 2005, when it was still a GE company and was getting enchristened as Genpact post the strategic sale; this association was on back of my closest friends & couple of engineering mates joining Ge. In Decemeber 2005, came to know about the whole BPO industry, its offerings and where Genpact stood during my non-credit classes. The sessions where conducted by our IIM Alumni Sanjeev Singh, who was then Collections COE leader at Genpact; Others included Amit Agarwal(presently Quality Head), Shuba Laksmi(Global HR VP), Ritu Rekha(transition) and couple more handling each and every aspect of the industry. Then subsequently joined the company which I always wanted to be part of. My HR-AVP was the part of the two-member recruitment team which visited us for recruitment.

Anyways two years of learning, growth - personal & professional seen it all and expereinced it all to express and blog it today. Though not the best of expereinces in the overall perspective, it would hold a special place in my heart always for many years to come. Lots of people then questioned and challenged my intent of joining Genpact, but I don't regret it either.

I cherished a few praises I liked a lot from my collegues

"A very Genuine guy at heart"

" A person of heart who feels for others"

" I've never seen such a Genuine and open hearted guy in my professional life"

" Very straight and onto the point - Absolutely no sugar-coating when you express your thoughts"
"You have been a great friend and we certainly shared a great working relationship… Though our interactions have been much, I want you to know that I have a high regard for the expertise that you bring along… Needless to mention, I do look up to you…"

"Your quiting was a shock to our team, we always looked forward to you for inspiration'

Touchy sentences, though I have not been able to touch a lot of people, but I am happy people took me close to their heart, and where open hearted, and shared bonding at a personal level than at a professional level.

For long I might have craved to move out of the compay, the time has come for me to take that step out, out from comfort and try and experiment new things and new life. As I step forward into an uncertain future I carry with my self a heavy heart, and oblivion within yearing to be filled. Am just short of tears as I was stepping out, trying to be as optimistic as I can and as I write this blog.

I pray that my stint with Genpact never goes waste, and hope that whosoever I was involved with and I joined in for make the best of the same and be sucessful than ever.

Ugadi Shubhakankshalu

This new year started with a new hope, new desire and lots of new expectations. Woke up early in the morning before Six, had my bath and off to Laxmi Ganapthi temple for Sivaabhishekam. Though I didn't actually take part in person for the same, I atleast got a chance to supply most of the water required for the Abhishekam. The Abhishekam culminated after 2 hrs at around 8.15am. Then to my Nav pradakhsana, blessings from preists - Bhavani Sharma and Simham. Though I loved Pulihora served in this temple, by the time Abhishekam Prasadam was finished, felt bad as I got to have only a few grains and couldn't carry back any home. Then back home played with the kids while waiting for my Ugadi Prasadam - Ugadi Pachadi. Then quick breakfast with Paravanam and dosas.
Towards afternoon was invited to my cousins place for lunch, where the entire family battalion was waiting. Lots of stuff to choose from, to eat, my lunch went on for unusually long time as I hogged for close to 20minutes. Then time to chill out, went shopping to Koti though it was more of ride than anything else.
Then after that straight to Prasad'z IMAX. Waited at the counter at the window deciding what movie to watch and what not to. Finally we decided not to go ahead for any. Then went in brisked the floors, with some chiks and crowd gazing while headed to the new 4dfx theatre in Prasads. The new theatre adds an additional dimension of feel/touch to increase the movie experience. The seats are movable, they shake, tilt they vibrate. You would also have fire lighting all round the theatre, and siphoned air coming and shooting at us from different locations. A small screen, 3-d cartoon movie of not more than 10 min was screened to an excited crowd which went for a ride in those 10 minutes. Though the experience was anything but awesome the price was pretty steep at 100/- its like we paid 10 bucks per minute of viewing.
Then to game zone, quick racing in Ferrari pit, then raced again against each other followed by a few stupid games. We later realised that it started raining outside so headed out into open, for a long ride alongside the Tankbund making a full circle on the rain trenched stretch, squeezing the throttle to the maximum while the engine struggle to rev pass our excitement. Went through the streets scouting for hot masala bajji joints and to book movie tickets for Jalsa, unfortunately couldn't get the tickets for the same. Came back home completely drenched and wetting the carpets at my cousins place. Then sat down to eat cookies, fryums and some similar khara after quick drying up session. Then started the long gyan sessions, talks and chit-chats then slowly as night started taking over more and more people started leaving for the night. Was the last to move out after the hosts locked the door. Bid goodbye and thanking all for the time. Then headed home then again few more cousins have come. Quick chat goodbye, then as I sat down had a few calls. Special calls to start with, was wildly elated on the same, as had been in middle of interesting and long conversation for over 2 hrs. Special calls for quite many reasons, was such a fun to talk and share. Then toward the midnight a spur of midnight sms was rampant with my cousins talking about the day, as I slowly started to retire for the night.
Fabulous day, had lots of fun and excitement. Tension free was the key, thanks to my special Guardian angel with whom my unwinding and guilt-factor within would have just persisted over.
