Snacks and food personalites

I am having my CB exam tommorow and am passing time surfing some useless sites. And thought of blogging the same.
Just heard that women have more accute sense of taste than men. 35% of woman are SuperTasters( who have double the number of average taste buds) while only 15% of men are SuperTasters. You can take the senses challenge to get some intersting info.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/body/interactives/senseschallenge/

2nd one is from my CB book about personality traits based on snacking
Potato Chip eater - Is an ambitious, succesful, high achiever, impatieny with less than the best
---> I love them but they are costly ...nd none of the traits seems to fit me looser
Tortilla Chips - Irrelavant unknown item for me
Pretzels - Lively, easily bored --well don't know them either
Snack Crackers- Rational, logical, contemplative, shy nd prefer being alone
---> my typoo
Cheese curls - Irrelavant
Nuts - Easy going, empaththetic, understanding, calm, even tempered
Popcorn - Takes charges, pitches in often, modest, self confident
Meat Snacks - Greagarious, generous, trust worthy, tends to be overly trusting

This is from 'What Flavor is Your Personality?' by Alan Hirsch reported in the Raleigh News and Observer this morning: Some research findings about food preferences:
1) People who like vanilla ice cream are lively, energetic and the life of the party; people who like spicier flavors are more reserved.
2) Gentlemen get fired up over the scent of pumpkin pie; the secret to romancing a lady can be found in a box of Good & Plenty candy.
3) Women are turned off by the smell of cherries and men's cologne. (Be forewarned, guys -- buy her a box of Good & Plentys!) No scent has yet been found that turns men off.

Now here is the test:
1. Which group of fruits and vegetables do you prefer?
a) oranges, bananas, and grapes b) eggplant, corn and tomatoes

2. Do you like spicy pickles? Yes or No

3. Which do you prefer: (choose one from each pair)
a) green olives or black olives b) pecans or almonds c) pickles or cucumbers

4. Which do you prefer? (choose one from each pair)
a) lemons or oranges b) potatoes or sweet potatoes c) grapefruit or tangerines

Answers:
1. If you prefer
a) fruits, you are a strong-minded, ambitious, aggressive and dominant individual who is a natural leader;
b) vegetables, it indicates you tend to be introspective, self-searching and sensitive to the needs of others.
2. Spicy pickles tend to indicate pessimism; a "no" answer tends to indicate optimism.
3. If two or more of your answers are the first choice (green olives, pecans, or pickles) you tend to be assertive in your relationships and enthusiastic in everything you do. Although anxious at times, you are a decisive and resilient person. If two or more of your answers are the second choice (black olives, almonds, or cucumbers) you tend to take responsibility for your own actions, you are self-confident and a natural leader.
4. If two or more answers are the first choice
(lemons, potatoes or grapefruit) you tend to be reserved, quiet and contemplative and are not generally compulsive. If two or more are the second choice
(oranges, sweet potatoes and tangerines) you are likely an outgoing, gregarious person with a good sense of humor who enjoys a stable relationship.

One for All, All for one ---- Summit

Nov 18th decided to update this post

Here we go
Summit the highest point for anyone be it a mountaineer, rock climber, an upcomming artist, a corporate, an engineer ,any person in any walk of life some day thinks of being at the Summit.
To reach there is real achievement and celebration within would be immense. Once would be extremely fortunate enough as he has achieved something which is unique not only to himself but which is different from all the others. A real differentiating factor one can boost of at that moment. But one has to be aware that competition is never far behind they will catch up nd make a new summit which is to be scaled to be achiever. Its something of a rat race but it always keeps coming back.
One has to realise that there is only one top for everyone and only one can be there no matter what. Reaching the top needs hard work, dedication, endurance to take in pain , immense stamina, strength, attitude and lot of support from many levels of humanity and divinity. As though they are not sufficient enough maintaining and sustaining the success and position is even more difficult. Almost all the top brands and corporates at all levels feel it. A Microsoft is always on a back burner with competition from all spheres, a Linux when it came to being it never cared a damn about Microsoft nor Microsoft gave a damn, but not Linux already has over 25% of the market share in Network OS nd threatens the position of likes of Microsoft in PC segment which it assembled and nurtured from scratch.
Its difficult and never easy and letting it go is not at all an answer for a happy life. One has to be in competition and self realisation and motivation will automaticaly push the person ahead. The belief and self -realisation has to be always there and better we people start trying for it. Now!!! Now is never late than ever !!!

Changing times

Offlate I 've noticed a change in my schedules. These days I am sleeping quiet late, and it is usually after 2 or 2.30 that I get to sleep. Considering a strict follower of time till atleast the end of the 1st year, this changed a bit in the 4th term. This owed some bit to Madhu, where we used to sit and have long Y! Chats about personalities and personality differences. Added to this we usually had this game playing sessions of BZ-Flag right through the early morning hours. So some how I felt into the groove and got accustomed.
A change from this 4th term only aggravated in this 5th term. I started to watch movies late. After doing some work, usually after 2am, I started of to see movies and usually stayed up staying awake till 4.30am in the morning, surprisingly enough I do get up before the breakfast is closed. Thats around 9.45-10am types.
This is of particular importance cause I used to get quiet early in the morning in te first year so that I could study in the morning hours. I then used to get up at around 6.30 - 7 am types. First thing I used to do was to switch on the system and start playing hungama trivia. And I did win lots of goodies too, somehow I don't feel like soing it nor I am that dedicated to any of the gaming and promo sites which I used to show such high enthusiasm and interest levels.
Another change over the last term is of maintaining of my room, I atleast tried to beautify the room, get some drapes in, have some posters, nd carpets spread out. Two main influencers for me in this pretext are Amos, who keeps & tries to keep his surroundings sparkle clean and Madhul. One is supposed to give a good feel if one expects good company. Also personally I felt I need to make the room lively for me to have vitality and be active, as the surroundings reflect my course of action.
Starting from last term I started using a lot of incense in the room. I am never used to lighting one at my home or outside. Having developed this habit atleast I am not missing an opportunity to devote some time for God and pay respects to them and thank them for all they have provided. And I sincerely hope that I do this on a regular basis. I feel I've not done good not taking an active role on Vinayaka Chaturdi at my home and also by not going to temple during the last visit, for which I feel I was duly returned.

Starvation ....Finally one of Prabhas's action movie

Today 16th Oct I watched Prabhas's Sriya Starrer Raja Mouli's Chatrapathi. It's a quiet enjoyable movie, with good decent stunt and action work. Raja Mouli is known to give good action flicks and he precisely did that in the movie. He used the brilliance of cinematography under Senthil, which I guess was backed up by his performance in Sye another Raja Mouli's enjoyable youthful movie.
Anyways I have been a fan( not a hardcore) of Prabhas Trisha starrer Varsham movie, which I watched totally by circumstance. I found him very hardworking and had a determination to come up. His body language shows clear focus and urge to succeed. I like him above many other stars be it Mahesh Babu, Pavan Kalyan, Tarun and many others. This guy has a good personality and those looks needed for an action hero. I do prefer Nitin Reddy, NTR junior in some of the roles. But can't stand Mahesh Babu and Tarun.
For the movie Chatrapathi i happened to get it early in the morning and I couldn't wait till the night to watch the movie. Right after having my breakfast I sat for the movie and started of my morning show which c included at lunch around 1pm. I had to go for lunch and then to SEPM class too. Anyways the movie brought back to me the happiness I thought was missing on campus. The movie provided me with the much needed spark to get along with life. The movie I liked everybit of it, right through, I only hated venu madhav in the come and go comedy role in-between. Else I felt everything was in place. Sriya I like this girl specifically for her looks from the lips. She as the most unique smile I ever seen. Though a small role she's made a good performance in the film. But have to agree that Varsham role of Trisha was damn good for a heroine beside Prabhas.
I sincerely can't wait long for another Prabhas's movie was his second movie for me this year, the earlier was Chakram which was a good opener for Charmi though the movie tanked, thanks that the audience have to live with the fact that the hero has no villains in the movie and the only villain was the story writer who kills the star Prabhas to the horror of the audience.
But this movie actually projected the most macho image of Prabhas and somehow made him superhuman being. Fine as long as people like me can live with them the movie lives on. If the movie was to be scripted with NTR junior it would have been a huge sensational hit, but seems like with smaller fan following Prabhas movies will take time to be bigger hits.
Final comparison between Varsham and Chatrapathi, Varsham was totally a romantic action movie and Trisha had a very good character and acted too good in the movie. In Chatrapthi Hero has been glorified, and is based on Son-Mother sentiment with a social cause in an action oriented backdrop, heroine has anything solid to show off in such a circumstance, so it scores quiet below Varsham.
Ultimately a good movie for action bluffs.
